Where can I find Grand Canyon National Park road reports?

Grand Canyon road conditions vary depending on season and what part of the canyon you are visiting. The South and North Rim are at different elevations, thus have different conditions present at any one time.

  • South Rim: South Rim roads are usually open and clear all year long. But at times, weather systems pass through making driving hazardous, and the park may close with little notice.
  • North Rim: The North Rim is generally open in the summer months (from 15 May to 15 October). After the first snow, around the middle of October or later, Highway 67 to the park will close.
