Las Vegas Airport

Many visitors, whose final vacation destination is the Grand Canyon, fly into the Las Vegas Airport and drive from there. The McCarran International Airport (LAS) McCarran is owned by Clark County, Nevada and operated under the policy direction of the Board of County Commissioners and the management of the Director and Deputy Director of Aviation. McCarran International Airport is located 260 miles from the North Rim of the Canyon.

Las Vegas, Nevada is considered one of the gateway cities to The Grand Canyon National Park. Located to the west of the North Rim of the Park, it is an easy day's drive from Las Vegas to the Park.

McCarran International Airport (LAS) is serviced by many commercial airlines and has all the amenities expected at an international airport in addition to amenities expected in the "City that never sleeps". Almost every major airline including many international airlines fly here. Las Vegas airport consists of two terminals – domestic flights operate out of the larger Terminal 1 with its four concourses, and international flights operate out of the more modern Terminal 2.
