Verde Valley Fairgrounds
The Native Americans who were the earliest residents of the Verde valley were known for their art and culture. It is thus only natural that there will be an influence of this on the present generation as well. The Verde Valley Fairgrounds is where the town comes and with it all the tourists to enjoy the expos and the fairs.
The Verde valley and Sedona has emerged as a major tourist attraction. And why not, with red-rock monoliths, the incredible Oak Creek Canyon, the Mogollon Rim, so many nature reserves, Indian ruins and the hundreds of camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and nature trips that are possible from here, this part of Arizona has become a favorite.
And adding to the attractions of the Verde Valley is the fair ground. From 4th of July celebrations to Christmas parties to home & business expos to automobile shows, the fairgrounds at Sedona are where everyone comes to enjoy themselves and to interact with each other. Until very recently, Sedona was inhabited by just 300 people, but now there are 300 artists living in this town. Not surprisingly there are as many as 40 galleries, and you can meet quite a few of them at the fairgrounds. There are annual arts festivals where the artists come out with their very best.
Businesses too want to participate at the fairs held at Sedona in Arizona. This is because the town due to the attractions nearby, plays host to tourists who come from all over the world and thus, the businesses are able to get a global exposure.
