Prescott Jazz Summit
Every jazz fan and musician should make the Prescott Jazz Summit. Hot jazz makes the month of August even steamier with the Summit. This fest is one of the few that offer pure and unadulterated jazz. With one free concert to kick off the event and three ticketed concerts following, music is the main event at this festival.

“A tribute to the great big bands,” featuring Fred Radke, leader of the Harry James Orchestra, Mike Vax, leader of the Stan Kenton Alumni Band, Dennis Roland vocalist from the Count Basie Band, the festival all star big band, and other guest artists to be announced.

Sunday Afternoon – Concert and Dancing – Hassayampa Inn Marina and Arizona Ballrooms.
Beginning with a free Friday noon concert in Prescott's Courthouse Square (which is on the corner of Montezuma Street and Gurley Street), the first evening of the fest features legendary artists with International acclaim as well as high school ensembles. Jazz workshops throughout the weekend allow for interaction between established and aspiring musicians, and those who attend the workshops can see notable improvement in their music.
A favorite of many is the Sunday Jazz Brunch which features tasty food and lively music.
A variety of packages for the weekend are available, consisting of patron (which includes a meet the musicians dinner and the jazz brunch), super patron (which includes dinner, brunch and special seating), meet the musicians dinner and Friday night concert and just the Sunday jazz brunch.
