Tours

Vacation time is normally play time, but you can take a short educational side-trip and experience some fabulous tours to view the Hoover Dam, a place of historical interest as well as a premium scenic sight. It has to go onto your must-see list when in Arizona or Nevada on vacation.

Hoover Dam is officially a National Historic Landmark, and it is clear as to why its been made so. It is truly one of America's Seven Modern Civil Engineering Wonders. When visiting Grand Canyon or Las Vegas, it simply has to go onto your itinerary for your ideal vacation.

A terrific way to tour the dam is to take a helicopter tour, and if you are a photographer, you will have some spectacular aerial shots available. That is a unique way to tour the area, but there are others, such as by motor coach or even a boat or float trip from the base of the dam. You can also experience combinations of these.

The Hoover Dam is tops in sightseeing both for Nevada and Arizona, and something the whole family will enjoy. Be sure to stop by, tour the dam and learn all sorts of historical facts and tidbits.
