Ranger Programs

The Grand Canyon National Park offers some fantastic ranger programs that are not only educational, but also free of charge. The ranger programs offer you a chance to learn about the wonderful geographic features of this legendary canyon area as well as its colorful history.

These programs are varied to appeal to a wide variety of interests and are sure to capture the attention of all, young and old. Learn about the majestic condor with a 9-foot wingspan. Stroll along the canyon rim with a ranger pointing out native animals and plant species. Sit back and relax to a talk about the canyon’s history or geology. For those interested in history, step back in time to glimpse the past when you join a ranger for a walk on a paved trail and see the remains of an ancestral Pueblo village.
