Kachina Lodge
The Kachina Lodge offers wonderful family-friendly rooms along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Contemporary lodging, prime location to dining and the Grand Canyon Village, and a regional flair make the Kachina a wonderful home base for your vacation to Grand Canyon National Park. Travelers can expect modest accommodations amidst spectacular scenery.
Between El Tovar Hotel and Bright Angel Lodge, the Kachina Lodge offers modern lodging while still providing prime location along the south rim. With prime positioning in the center of the Grand Canyon Village, the Kachina Lodge offers wonderfully family-friendly lodging.
A short stroll is all it takes to get to nearby restaurants and cafes at both the El Tovar Hotel and Bright Angel Lodge.
The spacious rooms have two queen beds (or one king bed), a coffee maker, refrigerator, safe, television, telephone, and full bath. There are also rooms specifically for guests with disabilities. Check-in for the all non-smoking rooms is in the El Tovar Hotel. The Kachina was totally renovated in 1997, giving the lodge a contemporary feel and offering modern comforts.
With half of the rooms having partial panoramas of the canyon, canyon views are not guaranteed.
Even if you stay in a room without a direct view, the scenic vistas are not far off. The Kachina Lodge is but 30 meters away from the Grand Canyon Rim.
A Kachina is a deified ancestral spirit from legends of the Pueblo Native Americans. In the Southwestern spirit, the lodge is named after the local tribe.
