Reaching 5,200 feet in elevation, this 72-par daily fee golf club offers 18 challenging yet player-friendly holes and other pleasant amenities for a great golfing experience.
Located in Prescott, Arizona, just 45 minutes from Sedona and an hour's drive from downtown Phoenix, experts say StoneRidge Golf Course is one of the nicest daily fee courses in the area. Designed by golf course architect Randy Heckenkemper, this course provides ideal playing conditions in Northern Arizona's cool mountains.
Opened in 2002 and managed by the SunCor Company, the course has received a number of accolades. Links Magazine proclaimed StoneRidge to be "the perfect blend of mountain and desert golf" and Arizona Fairways says that "StoneRidge offers a challenge unlike any other in the state".
Landscaped with ponderosa and pinyon pine, scrub oak, native grasses, and wild flowers, and dotted with granite rock formations and desert washes, StoneRidge is a 72 par, 7,052-yard course that is appropriate for intermediate to advanced golfers. This beautiful 18-hole course also features 350 feet of dramatic elevation change, adding to the challenge of this Prescott course and making it better suitable for golfers with some experience. Some players have likened the golf cart ride through StoneRidge to that of a roller coaster!
