Artist-in-Residence December 2011 to February 2012 Grand Canyon hosts two Artist-inResidence programs-a seasonal program on the North Rim and a year-round program on the South Rim. Ask in National Park Service visitor centers about times and locations for free, special 

programs. Visit www.nps.gov/grca/supportyourpark/air.htm for information. Meet the artist! On the second Tuesday every month, artists will present a demonstration, talk, rim walk, or familyfriendly workshop. Gather in front of the Verkamp's Visitor Center fireplace at 12:30 p.m. for this free 45-minute program

Overview: Stories unfold on the easy to moderate hikes throughout the park all led by a ranger. Ask a ranger any question while exploring the North and South rims. Walks can range from easy strolls to moderate hikes. To the Cedar Ridge hike that is a few hours roundtrip.

Details: The Ranger Led Walks meets at the visitor centers of the park. These walks can vary from easy to moderate to family minded. Remember to always bring sunscreen, water, rain gear and of course your curiosity.
