The Arizona Snowbowl, located just outside of Flagstaff and only a hop, skip and a jump from Phoenix, boasts breathtaking scenery, incredible snow, and jaw dropping low rates. This gem of a ski resort—the only one of its kind in the area—takes advantage of a high snowfall average and an impressive elevation (11,500 feet!) to offer unbelievable skiing and snowboarding in the middle of the Arizona desert.
LIFT RATES
Adults can schuss the slopes from nine in the morning until the lifts close at four in the afternoon—all for less than fifty dollars! Holiday prices run slightly steeper, but what's a holiday break without skiing? If your knees can't handle a full day of carving, hit the slopes around noon and save yourself a cup of chili or a burger. Got kids? Tykes under seven ski for free, and children ages eight to twelve ride for under $30 a pop. The Arizona Snowbowl watches out for its elders, too—seniors over seventy ski for free, and those in the 65-69 age bracket get a discounted price. Large groups (fifteen or more) are offered premium package (read: huge discounts!) deals, and EVERYONE skis for free on their birthday. That is simply the Snowbowl way.
